Who we are

Maika Custom Design designs and handcrafts custom dresses. Our whole process happens online and we ship dresses to our clients’ homes. For any privacy question, write to info@maikacustomdesign.com or message us on WhatsApp at +1 (425) 539-9775.

Information we collect

When you fill out our consultation form we receive the information you choose to send us:

• Your name and email address.
• Your WhatsApp or phone number.
• What you are celebrating and the date of your event.
• The country and city where the dress would be shipped.
• Your message and any details about the dress you have in mind.

If you contact us by WhatsApp, email or social media, we receive the information included in that conversation. Like most websites, our hosting server also records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site running.

How we use your information

• To reply to your inquiry and schedule your consultation.
• To prepare your design proposal and quote.
• To make, adjust and ship your dress, and to keep you updated on its progress.
• To protect the site from spam and abuse.
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We only share information with services that help us run the business:

• Hosting: our website and email are hosted by Hostinger.
• Spam protection: form submissions are checked by Akismet (Automattic) to filter spam.
• Fonts: the site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
• WhatsApp and social networks: if you contact us through WhatsApp (Meta), Instagram, TikTok or Facebook, those platforms process your messages under their own privacy policies.
• Shipping carriers: when we ship your dress, the carrier receives the name, address and phone number needed for delivery.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies

We use a single functional cookie, pll_language, to remember whether you are browsing in English or Spanish. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. You can delete cookies at any time from your browser settings.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as needed to answer them and, if you become a client, for as long as needed to complete your order and meet legal or accounting requirements. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Write to info@maikacustomdesign.com and we will reply as soon as possible.

Minors

Many of our dresses are made for quinceañeras and children. We ask that a parent or guardian completes the form and handles communication on behalf of anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
